Twalib Omar is 9 years old and one of my patient treasures. Today he brought me a painting that he made, which shows me mending someone’s broken heart! I am amazed!
Here is a transcript of what he wrote:
“No problem, Mr Ali, love can be pain”
“No doctor, explain”
“Your heart is fine and pain will pass… Love again, forever whatever”
“Asante daktari, mungu na kubariki dawa yako ni mzuri sana. Mimi na furahi sasa.”
(Thank you doctor, God bless you, your medicine was good. I am very happy.)
